Intermediate Electrical Engineer
Vertical Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join an award winning multidisciplinary consultancy in Liverpool, as demand for their expertise continues to grow.
The business has contributed to a number of high profile projects across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds, delivering work that responds to the challenges of an increasingly complex and resource conscious built environment. You will be joining a team where the work is both challenging and rewarding, with strong support to help you develop and progress.
They are looking for someone who is keen to build on their experience and take the next step in their career, within a friendly and collaborative team environment. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a wide range of projects, working with well known developers across multiple sectors.
Projects range from large industrial and commercial schemes valued at over £30 million, through to smaller, bespoke developments. Sectors include education, commercial, high end residential, retail, industrial and leisure.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Supporting the delivery of electrical designs as part of a wider project team
- Using CAD and BIM software, including Revit, to produce detailed designs
- Assisting with the design of site specific systems and equipment
- Supporting site activities and contributing to installation and commissioning stages
- Working closely with other disciplines including structural engineers, architects and contractors
- Attending project and technical meetings
- Ensuring designs comply with relevant regulations and health and safety standards
- Supporting energy efficient design solutions and sustainable building practices
Experience and Skills Required:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
- Working towards chartership
- Ideally working towards or already a member of CIBSE or IET
- Some experience within a consultancy environment
