About the Role 

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will work alongside senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in electrical building services design. This role offers the chance to contribute to the development of electrical systems for a wide variety of projects, shaping the future of the built environment. 

You will develop your design, technical, and software skills while supporting senior engineers in delivering high-quality, sustainable building services. The role provides the opportunity to take responsibility for key tasks and collaborate with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions. 

Responsibilities 

In this role, you will: 

- Assist in the design and specification of Electrical Building Services systems under the guidance of senior engineers. 

- Contribute to detailed calculations using industry-standard tools such as Amtech and Dialux/Relux, ensuring compliance with technical requirements. 

- Support the development of electrical system designs in line with project briefs. 

- Assist with the specification and design of electrical installations, including power and lighting systems. 

- Play a role in project delivery by contributing to design development, budget monitoring, and project timelines. 

- Prepare technical specifications using NBS Chorus, ensuring high-quality documentation. 

- Collaborate with the BIM team to produce drawings, with a working knowledge of Autodesk and Revit being beneficial. 

- Attend client and contractor meetings to support effective communication and coordination. 

- Conduct site surveys and inspections, ensuring the smooth execution of projects on site. 

- Write clear and concise technical reports and documentation.
