Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer

OverviewWe are supporting a well-established engineering consultancy in London seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing building services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to further develop their technical capability while working on a range of high-quality projects.Role ResponsibilitiesSupport the design and delivery of electrical building services systems across sectors including commercial, residential, and mixed-useProduce electrical calculations, drawings, and specificationsAssist in the design of systems including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systemsWork closely with senior engineers to ensure projects are delivered to time, budget, and quality standardsConduct site surveys and support project coordinationEnsure designs comply with BS7671 and UK building regulationsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers and architectsRequirementsExperience as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services (typically 2-5 years)Good understanding of electrical systems design and relevant standardsExperience producing design calculations and using relevant design softwareStrong communication skills and willingness to learn and developQualifications and Professional DevelopmentDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related disciplineWorking towards Chartership (CEng) via CIBSE or IETSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all ..... full job details .....
