Intermediary Sales & Sales Support, Assistant Vice President, State Street Investment Management

Overview

State Street Investment Management is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Sales and Sales Support AVP to work within the UK Intermediary sales team (Client Coverage Group), engaging with wealth managers, platforms, asset managers and other intermediary clients. The role holder must meet the criteria for an FCA Certified Role.The Sales and Sales Support AVP will support the sales function, facilitate onboarding of funds onto various platforms, manage contracts for complex investments, and respond to client requests and questionnaires. The role includes preparing sales campaign materials, analysing business results, contributing to strategic planning, and, over time, cultivating direct client relationships. Some aspects require end-to-end ownership of processes (e.g., platform onboarding) while others are part of a client coverage/deal team. Strong engagement and coordination with stakeholders across the broader EMEA Client Coverage Group (CCG), Investments, Operations, Legal, Compliance and other internal teams are essential. You will develop a thorough understanding of State Street Investment Management''s operating model, investment capabilities, and service offerings in the EMEA region. As the company invests in technology, you will be immersed in automation, efficiencies, and creative thinking to improve client interaction. You will partner with colleagues in other regions and across the institutional client coverage group to ensure global consistency and continuously improve the client experience. This role is part of the Client Coverage Group and reports to the Head of Intermediary Client Coverage - UK in London.What you will be responsible for

Lead the relationship with investment platforms, acting as primary contact to facilitate and streamline onboarding of our funds. Build trust, navigate complex processes, and communicate clearly across stakeholders to deliver high standards of service and operational excellence.Project manage the onboarding of new investments, coordinating end-to-end through KYC, contracting, fund/account setup, and funding.Serve as primary point of contact for larger clients, ensuring queries and information needs are addressed promptly to support client confidence and State Street''s reputation for outstanding service.Craft persuasive sales campaign emails that showcase our investment funds and highlight advantages over competitors, collaborating with investment specialists, client coverage teams and compliance.Analyse client sales and third-party data of client holdings to extract insights, identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.Prepare strategic reviews and develop strategic plans to assess business performance and chart future growth.Over time, contribute as a member of the coverage team for larger clients and proactively cultivate a portfolio of client relationships.What we value
