The Red Carnation Hotels is seeking a strong mid- to senior-weight
Interior Designer
to join its London team. The position is based in our office next to Buckingham Palace, with the requirement to work from the studio five days a week. You’ll report directly to the Design Director and will be part of a close-knit team working on diverse, design-led hospitality projects. The group is expanding its in-house design team and investing in renovation projects over the coming years.Responsibilities
Lead 3–4 small to mid-scale projects from concept through to completion, alongside a number of smaller creative tasks.Develop concepts and produce detailed specification documents and drawing packs.In-house role within a hospitality group with involvement in photoshoots, styling, branding and visual storytelling.Work closely with the operations team and contribute to shaping world-class 5* spaces.Take ownership of meaningful projects and contribute to a broader creative vision.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in interior design (preferably hospitality focused).Strong design sensibility with the ability to respond to context, history, and vision.Client-facing experience and confidence liaising with contractors and consultants.Collaborative, proactive, and positive attitude.Excellent written and spoken English.Strong documentation and technical detailing skills.Solid supplier knowledge and procurement understanding.Self-motivated and independent, while also a strong team player.Software and other design skills
