Location: Lewes, East Sussex
Contract: Interim or fixed-term contract
Package: £50,000 to £60,000 pro rata or a competitive day rate, depending on experience
Working arrangement: Predominantly site-based

Wild Nutrition is looking for an experienced Technical & Compliance Manager who can provide immediate support to its technical compliance function.
The business is open to both an interim appointment and a fixed-term contract. This would suit someone who can step into a growing health and wellness business, quickly understand the existing systems and provide confident, practical compliance leadership.
Wild Nutrition is a female-founded supplement brand with a clear mission to support women through better nutrition. It produces a broad range of premium, evidence-based nutritional products for customers in the UK and international markets.
The assignmentYou will provide hands-on support across regulatory compliance, quality systems, product claims, labelling, supplier standards and post-launch product compliance.
Your responsibilities are likely to include:
Taking ownership of the existing Quality Management System
Reviewing and strengthening SOPs, policies and technical documentation
Ensuring compliance with UK food supplement and labelling legislation
Reviewing product labels, nutritional information and marketing claims
Supporting compliance activity across NPD and existing product ranges
Managing CAPA, complaints and technical investigations
Supporting supplier approval and ongoing supplier compliance
Preparing for and supporting internal or external audits
Maintaining relevant certification requirements
Identifying immediate compliance risks and agreeing clear priorities
Providing practical advice across NPD, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain
Supporting the Compliance Assistant and wider team
Helping provide stability and structure while the permanent search continues
You will need:
Strong compliance experience within food supplements, nutraceuticals, food or regulated FMCG
Good knowledge of UK food supplement and labelling laws
An understanding of FSA and EFSA requirements
Experience reviewing claims, labels and technical product information
Hands-on experience writing SOPs and managing a QMS
Experience handling CAPA, complaints and continuous improvement
Knowledge of standards such as BRCGS, FSSC 22000, SALSA or GMP
The ability to enter a new business, assess priorities quickly and work with limited supervision
Strong attention to detail and a practical, collaborative approach
Previous people-management experience is not essential. The priority is somebody with the technical knowledge and confidence to make an immediate contribution.
