The role will have a strong focus on acquisition accounting, consolidation and FRS 102, working closely with the wider finance team as well as external auditors and lenders.Key responsibilitiesLead and support technical accounting activities across the GroupDrive the audit, ensuring robust preparation and deliveryProvide expertise across acquisition accounting and consolidationEnsure appropriate application of FRS 102Act as a key point of contact for external auditorsWork confidently with lenders and other financial stakeholdersSupport the business through complex accounting and reporting requirementsProvide practical, hands-on input to the wider finance functionAbout youWe are looking for someone with:Strong technical accounting experience, ideally gained in a complex or acquisitive environmentProven experience with Group consolidations and acquisition accountingStrong knowledge of FRS 102Experience working directly with auditors and lendersMust be a qualified accountantExcellent communication skills and the confidence to operate at senior stakeholder levelA hands-on, pragmatic approach and the ability to make an immediate impactAvailability to start at short notice ..... full job details .....
