Interim Syndicate Financial Controller Senior interim opportunity to lead the financial management of a Lloyd''s syndicate and managing agency. Join a London-based finance team in a key leadership position, overseeing regulatory reporting, financial accounting, and stakeholder management in accordance with Lloyd''s rules and standards. This role requires strong Lloyd''s market expertise and the ability to work at pace with executive-level stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage syndicate finance function including review of regulatory returns (Flash, QMB, SUK, QAD, AAD, QF1, AF1)Oversee budgets, cashflow management, tax filings, and financial accounting for syndicate and managing agencyPrepare and review monthly management accounts, PandL, balance sheet, and Board packs with commentaryEnsure compliance with Lloyd''s regulations, byelaws, and UK GAAP statutory accountsManage internal and external stakeholders including actuaries, auditors, regulators, and Lloyd''sDrive development of systems, processes, and controls for management and regulatory reportingSupport annual business planning processes and strategic initiatives with executive teamLead and empower finance team (4 direct reports)Requirements5+ years Lloyd''s market experience - ESSENTIALQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong UK GAAP knowledge3+ years team management experience in (re)insuranceIn-depth knowledge of Lloyd''s regulatory environment and reporting requirementsProven financial skills across ..... full job details .....
