Job Title: Interim Repairs Partnering Manager
Type: Temporary Contract 3 months
Location: Remote Working
Rate: £31.19 - £41 per hour/up to £300 per day (£69,007 equivalent)
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
This role sits within the Homes Directorate and contributes to the overall management function. You would be Operational Lead for the organisations regional delivery of the annual programme of planned investment, component replacements, cyclical redecoration and major works including delivery of the organisations regional customer facing responsive repairs, voids and estate services contracts. You will also lead and manage a team of Partnering Surveyors.
Duties:
- Contribute to the delivery of the corporate and Homes strategy to ensure organisational service direction and strategic objective targets are met.
- Develop and sustain long term strategic relationships with our key partners in delivering a regional customer focussed programme of planned investment, major repairs, responsive and void repairs to create a seamless service with shared values.
- Lead on embedding and sustaining the key values across all national contracts so that values are aligned and all parties have the opportunity to create social and economic value.
- Lead on the building and management of sustainable and meaningful partnerships so that our contractors are resilient and profitable whilst delivering good quality services in the way our customers expect.
- Develop and embed processes that remove waste, drive costs down, increase social value initiatives and deliver real digital innovation.
- Assist in the design of customer involvement strategies to ensure that residents have a voice in shaping and improving service outcomes.
- Develop, support, manage and sustain customer involvement groups and key partner national networking groups to share experience, best practice, innovation.
- Develop and implement key partner training plans for common areas of training such as values, contracts, compliance, safeguarding, IT.
- Assist in the procurement and mobilisation of new supply chain partners.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with contract terms, KPIs and budgeted spend.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures to ensure there are no statutory, regulatory or contractual breaches.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of developing long term strategic partnerships and embedding key values with stakeholders.
- Proven experience of leading multi-disciplined teams across a wide geographical area.
- Proven experience of developing and implementing customer and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Highly developed communication skills with experience of presenting to a range of audiences.
- Proven experience of driving costs down whilst improving economic and social value.
- Proven experience of identifying, designing and implementing digital innovation and solutions.
- Proven experience of managing large service budgets.
- Highly skilled in assessing information and devising and implementing appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of building components and the diagnosis of building defects.
- Knowledge of building law, regulation, building contracts, contract law and health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Educated to HND level or equivalent, professional qualification in construction, housing, management or property.
- A full UK driving license with the ability to drive as and when required by the business.
