Interim Statutory Accountant

Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering with a growing insurance business as it enters an exciting new phase of MandA activity.Following a series of internal moves, the business is seeking an Interim Statutory Accountant to lead statutory reporting activities and support a seamless knowledge transfer process. The successful candidate will take ownership of statutory reporting requirements, including IFRS 17 reporting. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage statutory reporting activities within the finance functionOversee IFRS 17 reporting requirements within a Life Insurance environmentSupport audit delivery and board reporting processesEnsure an effective and structured handover during the transition periodWork closely with senior stakeholders across the business during a period of transformation and growth Key Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with experience gained within Audit PracticeProven statutory reporting experience within the Life Insurance sector, including IFRS 17Strong experience managing audit delivery and board-level reportingDemonstrated capability in managing complex handover and transition periodsAvailable for an initial 6-month engagementOpen to both Fixed-Term Contract and Day Rate contractors For more information or immediate consideration, please contact Marcus Pratt at (url ..... full job details .....
