Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Local Authority, who are looking to recruit an experienced Service Manager - Family Assessment to join their team based in London. JOB DETAILS PAY RATE: £400 per day WORK TYPE: Temporary WORK PATTERN: Full Time LOCATION: London JOB SUMMARY The Service manager will be working in Family Assessment service will focus on tackling ingrained inequality and poverty in the borough. We will follow the evidence to tackle the underlying causes of inequality and hardship, like structural racism, environmental injustice and economic injustice. JOB DESCRIPTION The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: Service Manager has operational management responsibility for a number of teams. The focus of this role is leadership and management of the Young Service with operational responsibility for teams including Adolescent Social Work Team, Adolescent Workers and Families Together (Edge of Care), delivering social work services to children, young people and their families. The post holder will play a key role in the Division s senior management team in delivering corporate objectives, influencing strategic decision making, assessing and mitigating department risk THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: Social Work qualification Qualified Social worker registered with Social Work England.
