Interim Senior Finance and Grants Officer Location: Birmingham - Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)Rate: £20-£23 per hour UmbrellaContract: 3-6 monthsStart: ASAP We are currently recruiting for a Senior Finance and Grants Officer to join a growing finance team on an interim basis. This is a newly created role within the team following a recent organisational restructure and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of financial and grants processes supporting multiple international regions, including the Falkland Islands, Middle East and Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of financial processes, ensuring robust financial controls, compliance and reporting requirements are met across a portfolio of donor-funded programmes and grants. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the end-to-end financial management process for a portfolio of international programmes and grants. Support financial management across multiple regions, including the Falkland Islands, Middle East and Africa. Manage donor-funded financial reporting and ensure requirements are met accurately and on time. Oversee grant financial processes throughout the grant lifecycle, from award through to reporting and closure. Monitor expenditure against budgets and funding agreements, identifying and addressing variances where required.
