Interim Senior Accounts Payable Officer

Are you an experienced Purchase Ledger professional available at short notice? Do you have the confidence to support a busy team, challenge poor processes and keep transactions moving? Are you confident in using Sage 200 as a Finance system and able to educate colleagues to its use?Robertson Bell is supporting a Manchester housing provider in the recruitment of an Interim Senior Accounts Payable Officer on an initial three-month contract. This role will provide hands-on support to a busy purchase ledger function following a period of change, helping reduce pressure on the team while supporting improvements to processes and ways of working.Key responsibilities include:Processing purchase ledger transactions, supplier queries, direct debits, bank postings and payment runsSupporting the existing Purchase Ledger team and sharing knowledge around better ways of workingHelping maintain compliance with finance regulations, controls and approval processesThis is a hands-on interim assignment suited to someone who knows what good purchase ledger looks like and can bring confidence, pace and resilience to a busy environment.
