Interim Engineering Project Manager South West England Food Manufacturing / FMCGAn experienced Engineering Project Manager is required to lead the equipment workstream for a major new food manufacturing facility.This is a hands-on project delivery role, managing multiple equipment packages from initial specification and supplier selection through design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and final operational handover.Key Responsibilities:- Lead multiple capital equipment projects from concept to completion.- Manage equipment suppliers, contractors and engineering partners.- Oversee specifications, technical requirements, budgets, programmes and project risks.- Coordinate equipment installation with building, utilities and MandE infrastructure.- Drive supplier performance and resolve technical and delivery challenges.- Lead commissioning, operational handover and project close-out.- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Technical, Health and Safety and wider project teams.About You:- Proven experience delivering complex capital equipment projects within manufacturing.- Strong knowledge of equipment specification, supplier management, installation and commissioning.- Excellent project planning, commercial and stakeholder management skills.- A practical, proactive approach with strong engineering problem-solving ability.- An engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.- Experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, automation or major factory developments ..... full job details .....
