Interim Project AccountantScunthorpe 6 Month Contract £350 - £500 Per day Hybrid Working Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a well-established business based in Scunthorpe who are looking to appoint a Project Accountant to support the finance function through a period of change and improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the review and clearance of a backlog of financial reporting and accountsRebuild and strengthen reporting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial informationSupport the production of management accounts and associated analysisReview existing finance processes, identifying gaps, inefficiencies and control improvementsDrive improvements to financial reporting, reconciliations and balance sheet integrityWork closely with senior stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and improve financial visibilitySupport the implementation of improved processes, controls and reporting structuresProvide technical accounting support to the wider finance team where requiredKey SkillsFully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experienceProven experience working on finance improvement or transformation projectsStrong balance sheet and reconciliation expertiseAdvanced Excel and strong financial systems capabilityConfident working with senior stakeholders and driving change within finance ..... full job details .....
