Supporting a Central Government client to join a high-profile programme focused on external resource management and strategic workforce procurement. This role offers a blend of BAU procurement activity and strategic programme delivery, supporting a major resourcing transformation.Client DetailsA large scale central government organisation, based in either Leeds, Manchester, Blackpool, or Liverpool.DescriptionLead end-to-end procurement and sourcing activity, ensuring compliance with PA23, PCR 2015, and public sector governance requirements.Support the procurement of external resources and workforce-related services across BAU operations and strategic programmes.Manage supplier relationships and contracts, monitoring performance and driving value for money.Run further competitions through public sector frameworks, including CCS and similar agreements.Partner with Legal, Finance, HR, and business stakeholders to deliver compliant procurement solutions.Analyse workforce and commercial data to identify risks, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support business case development, governance processes, and procurement strategy delivery.Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously, balancing operational priorities with strategic objectives.ProfileStrong end-to-end procurement and sourcing experience within a public sector or regulated environment.Experience delivering procurements under Procurement Act 2023 and/or PCR 2015 regulations.Proven contract ..... full job details .....
