This isn''t a role where you''ll simply be completing routine inspections. The team is dealing with a varied caseload including Category 1 hazards, damp and mould complaints, disrepair investigations, HMOs and vulnerable residents who require a proactive approach. You''ll be joining a well-established team with strong management support, and the flexibility to manage your diary effectively. What you''ll be doing: Managing your own caseload of private sector housing enforcement cases Undertaking HHSRS inspections across the district Investigating complaints relating to disrepair, excess cold, damp and mould and overcrowding Working directly with landlords and letting agents to secure improvements Preparing and serving statutory notices where informal resolution isn''t appropriate Supporting wider projects focused on improving standards in the private rented sector Why contractors like this authorit...
