Interim Payroll and Finance Admin

The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll and Finance Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced organisation in North Bristol on a short-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with payroll administration experience who can quickly integrate into the team and provide immediate support across payroll, HR administration and finance activities. Key Responsibilities Process weekly and monthly payroll information accurately using the Optima Payroll system. Administer payroll records for both permanent and bank staff, ensuring all employee data is maintained and up to date. Liaise with managers across the business to ensure rota information and payroll data is accurate before payroll deadlines. Manage the HR inbox, ensuring enquiries are responded to and actioned efficiently. Process payroll-related changes including: New starters and leavers Maternity and paternity leave Sickness absence Holiday and other leave arrangements Employee contractual changes Maintain accurate records and documentation relating to payroll and employee absences. Ensure payroll documentation is submitted accurately and within required timescales. Support staff leave administration and monitor absence records.
