Preparation and review of payroll journals and associated reporting. Completion of payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end, year-end and audit requirements. Review and investigate payroll variances and reconciling items. Ensure strong financial controls and compliance procedures are maintained. Partner with payroll, HR and finance stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation and support process improvements. Provide guidance and support to junior team members where requiredProfileA successful Interim Payroll Accountant should have: Experience within a Payroll Accountant, Financial Accountant or Management Accountant role.
