Interim Operations Manager EngineeringLocation: Newark, Nottinghamshire Rate: £500 per day Contract: 6 months IR35 Status: Outside IR35The OpportunityWe are recruiting an Interim Operations Manager for an established engineering and machinery manufacturing business in Newark.Reporting directly to the Director, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the business, providing leadership to an experienced team while maintaining control of operational performance, finances and project delivery.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering professional who combines strong technical knowledge with commercial awareness and a supportive leadership style.The Role Oversee the day-to-day running of the business and coordinate operational activities.Lead and support an established team of Project Managers, engineers, workshop personnel and technical specialists.Monitor budgets, project margins, operational costs and overall financial performance.Oversee bespoke machinery manufacturing, fabrication, welding and mechanical/electrical engineering activities.Coordinate workshop and site installation resources to ensure projects progress effectively and customer commitments are met.Work closely with the Director and existing management team to resolve challenges and improve operational efficiency.Maintain appropriate health, safety, quality and regulatory standards.
