Description
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out proactive maintenance across a fast-paced food manufacturing site
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on machinery including ovens, conveyors, packaging equipment and automated systems
- Supporting mechanical maintenance and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety standards
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency
Profile
- Time-served engineer with strong electrical skills (ideally 17th/18th Edition qualified)
- Proven experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments
- Confident with PLC fault finding and basic programming (Siemens preferred)
- Flexible, proactive and able to hit the ground running
- Available for shift work (days/nights/weekends as required)
