Interim Management Accountant

We are looking for a commercially minded Management Accountant to join a growing finance team and provide high-quality financial reporting, analysis and insight to support business decision-making. Working closely with the wider Finance team and operational stakeholders, you will take ownership of key areas of the management accounts process, helping ensure accurate and timely reporting while providing meaningful analysis of business performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified, part-qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant who enjoys combining strong technical accounting skills with commercial business partnering. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts. Take ownership of month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Produce monthly profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow reporting. Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast and prior periods. Investigate variances and provide clear commentary on key business drivers. Support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Work closely with operational and commercial teams to improve financial understanding and decision-making. Produce regular and ad-hoc management information, reports and financial analysis.
