The role sits within the parent company and reports to the Group Financial Controller. This is initially an interim opportunity with the potential to become permanent, so we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, quickly take ownership of their responsibilities and work confidently with minimal supervision. This is a hands-on accounting role with no team management responsibilities. The role You will play an important part in delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting the month-end process and maintaining strong financial controls across the parent company. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting delivery to Group deadlines Managing key month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments Taking responsibility for stock accounting, including stock counts, stock adjustments and reconciliations Managing and reconciling GRNI Maintaining the fixed asset register and associated accounting Preparing balance sheet reconciliations...
