Interim Management Accountant London Borough Council £350 per day (Inside IR35) 6-Month ContractWe are seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to support a Local authority in London. This is a key role within the finance team, providing financial support, analysis and effective business partnering during a critical period in the financial year.Candidates MUST have experience at this level in a local authority or similar organisation Key responsibilities:Lead on budget monitoring, forecasting, and reportingProvide clear and accurate financial analysis to support decision-makingDeliver robust cost management and savings trackingSupport the preparation of budgets and medium-term financial planningCommunicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholdersRole requirements:Qualified accountant (CCAB or equivalent) or demonstrably qualified by experienceStrong background in management accounting within a local authority settingProven experience supporting demand-led servicesExcellent technical accounting knowledge and analytical capabilityTrack record of effective budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlConfident communicator with strong stakeholder management ..... full job details .....
