Interim Management AccountantLocation: Taunton Area (5 days per week onsite)Rate: Up to 275 per dayContract: Interim Assignment (Initial 9-Month Contract)Start Date: ASAP Sector: ManufacturingHays Senior Finance Interim and Contract Team are currently supporting a successful and growing manufacturing business in the Taunton area with the appointment of an experienced Interim Management Accountant.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional to join a busy finance team and provide key support across management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and business performance analysis during a period of sustained growth and operational activity.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce accurate and timely monthly management accounts.Prepare detailed variance analysis and financial commentary.Support budgeting and forecasting processes across multiple departments.Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong financial controls.Prepare accruals, prepayments and journal entries.Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital reporting.Partner with operational and production teams to support business performance.Analyse manufacturing costs, margins and stock movements.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Assist with the preparation of KPI reporting packs for senior management.Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within finance.Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and project support as required.About YouQualified Accountant ..... full job details .....
