Interim Management Accountant - 6 Month Contract

An established and growing business within the wider construction sector is seeking an experienced qualified Management Accountant to join the finance team on an initial 6-month contract . This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is able to quickly take ownership of core financial processes, allowing senior stakeholders to focus on wider strategic priorities. The role: Reporting into senior finance leadership, responsibilities are likely to include:Preparing and maintaining short and medium-term cash flow forecastsReviewing and supporting the submission of VAT returnsReviewing CIS returns and ensuring compliance with relevant legislationAssisting with the production of monthly management informationSupporting month-end processes and balance sheet reconciliationsIdentifying opportunities to improve existing financial processes and controlsProviding ad hoc financial analysis and support across the wider finance function About you: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Previous experience operating at Management Accountant level within a busy finance environmentComfortable working independently and able to hit the ground runningStrong attention to detail with a proactive, hands-on approachExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience within construction, housebuilding or a project-based environment would be highly advantageous, although this is not ..... full job details .....
