The Role: An experienced Repairs & Maintenance Surveyor is required to help deliver an effective and customer-focused repairs service across the council''s residential property portfolio. The successful candidate will undertake property inspections, identify maintenance issues, manage repair programmes, and monitor contractor performance to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. Main Duties: Carry out inspections before, during, and after works, as well as assessments of vacant properties. Identify building defects and specify appropriate repair solutions. Raise repair requests and oversee them through to completion. Monitor contractors, ensuring quality, value for money, and performance expectations are achieved.
