Overview

Director in the Interim Legal Team (Financial Services) – London-based interim Leveraged Finance Counsel for a 6-month contract with a niche B2B financial institution. This equity-funded bank supports strategic investments in infrastructure, digitalisation, and sustainability across Europe.The client operates a lean European team focusing exclusively on corporate finance, with no retail banking operations, supporting internal business units in sectors such as renewable energy, battery storage, data centres, and healthcare technology.Responsibilities

Advise on structured and project finance transactions (leveraged finance).Provide financing solutions for solar parks, data centres, and digital asset models.Review LMA documentation and provide strategic input (not drafting – external counsel used).Prepare NDAs, reliance letters, margin grids, and work with AI tools as appropriate.Support new offerings for the XaaS economy and the healthcare sector.Qualifications

Qualified lawyer

(UK or German) with strong experience in

leveraged/project finance .Familiarity with

LMA documentation

and experience working with external counsel (e.g. top-tier firms).Commercial mindset and ability to act as a true business partner.Fast learner, proactive, and pragmatic – able to “get it” quickly.Details
