Brava Education is working with a special school in the Thames Valley, who are looking for an experienced Interim Inclusion Lead to add capacity to their SEND and inclusion work, with a particular focus on EHCPs.

The role

This is a hands-on middle leadership role within a special school. You will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher leading pastoral and inclusion, and report to the Headteacher and the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion).

Your priority will be reviewing EHCPs and clearing the current backlog. You will also provide additional capacity across the school's SEND and inclusion processes.

The role may include some light teaching support, such as basic English and maths. This is not a requirement for candidates from a leadership or SENCo background.

About you

- Experience as a SENCo or in an equivalent inclusion role. The SENCo qualification is not required.
- Strong, hands-on EHCP experience.
- Special school experience.

Terms

The role is interim and full time, five days a week on site, with some flexibility for the right candidate. It offers a competitive day rate and an immediate start, running to at least Christmas 2026.

The process

The process will begin with a Teams call, followed by a school visit, with a quick decision after that. If you think this could be the right role for you, please get in touch.
