Interim HSE Manager

Monday - Friday days, early finish Fridays.-Part time will be considered.

Your new interim role:

You will be joining a nationally known manufacturing business specialising in the production of a range of products used in the Windows and Doors industries and more.Due to a movement within the team and with some ongoing recruitment, the site is looking for an interim Health & Safety manager to assist them on a short-term interim basis.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Promote a culture of safety in the workplace and perform regular site inspections to check compliance.
• Reviewing all risk assessments, method statements, COSHH assessments, work processes etc and ensuring they meet industry safety standards.
• Carry out toolbox talks and relevant training
• Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors.
• Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness.
• Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety / environmental standards.
• Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches.
• Tracking incident metrics and applying findings.

This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.

Experience & Skills needed:

• Previous experience as a Health & Safety manager or similar within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations & HSE practices
• NEBOSH qualification
• Able to hit the ground running and implement any changes as deemed necessary.
