Interim Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking an Interim Health and Safety Manager for a client in Essex. This is an initial 3-6 month contract. The candidate should be able to start ASAP and hit the ground running.You will split your time between the office in Essex and travelling to sites across London.Responsibilities
Develop the Health and Safety Audit and Assurance StrategyProvide competent Health and Safety Advice and guidanceImplement robust Health and Safety policies, procedures and systems across the organisationAdvise on the structure of the team going forwardMentor the existing team and lead cultural change across the groupEnsure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and manage risks across the groupComplete risk assessments, site inspections and investigate incidents and accidentsDevelop board reports and analyticsQualifications and Experience
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalentHousing, Local Authority, Facilities, Fire, Compliance, Engineering, Electrical, or Construction sector experience or a transferable industrySenior experience as a Health and Safety professionalExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsThis is an interim role and a Health and Safety contractor who can start asap.
