Interim Health and Safety ConsultantLocation: IverDay rate: GBP500 to GBP725 per dayContract: Initial six month interim assignmentIR35: Available on either an inside or outside IR35 basisStart date: ASAPTravel: UK and occasional European travelWe are recruiting an experienced Interim Health and Safety Consultant to support an established international manufacturing business while it completes the recruitment of a permanent Head of Health and Safety.Further information about the organisation will only be shared with suitable candidates during the recruitment process.The role will be based near Iver and will provide senior level health and safety leadership across a complex manufacturing and warehousing operation. The successful consultant will be expected to take ownership of the function during the interim period, maintain momentum and provide stability until the permanent appointment is made.The roleKey responsibilities will include: Taking day to day ownership of the health and safety function.Providing senior level advice and leadership across the business.Conducting a gap analysis of current health and safety arrangements.Reviewing policies, procedures and management systems.Supporting continued legal compliance.Identifying gaps in training, competence and occupational health provision.Helping shape and progress the health and safety strategy.Strengthening ownership and accountability across operational teams.Coaching and supporting the existing health and safety ..... full job details .....
