Interim Head of FPandA - Higher Education4 Month Contract ASAP Start£400-£500 per day (Inside IR35)Onsite: 3 days per week A leading UK university is seeking an Interim Head of FPandA to provide senior financial leadership during a critical planning and reporting period. This is a high-impact role suited to an experienced FPandA leader who can quickly assess, stabilise, and enhance financial planning processes in a complex organisation. You will lead the FPandA function, support executive decision-making, and ensure robust forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting across the institution. Key responsibilities Lead institutional budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning Provide strategic financial insight to the Executive and senior academic leaders Strengthen FPandA processes, reporting frameworks, and financial models Deliver clear performance reporting and scenario analysis Partner with stakeholders across faculties and professional services Manage and support a high-performing FPandA team during transition About you Proven senior FPandA leadership experience in a large, complex organisation (HE or public sector desirable) Strong financial modelling and analytical capability Confident communicator at Executive level Able to deliver quickly in an interim, fast-moving environment Hands-on, pragmatic, and solutions focused This is an immediate requirement and offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy within a respected ..... full job details .....
