Interim Head of Fire Safety and AsbestosDaily Rate: 600 - 650Location: Nottinghamshire (Hybrid - 2 or 3 days in the office)Job Type: Interim 6 months We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for a dedicated and experienced individual to join as the Head of Fire Safety and Asbestos. This interim role is crucial for ensuring safety and compliance across all operations, with a specific focus on fire safety and asbestos management.Day-to-day of the role:Oversee and manage the internal Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) and remedial processes.Ensure full compliance with all relevant statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements related to fire safety and asbestos.Monitor and challenge the performance of contractors to ensure high standards and prompt responses in maintenance and repairs.Develop and implement a comprehensive fire safety strategy, including a replacement program for capital renewals.Manage budgets effectively, ensuring value for money and that all works are completed to the required quality.Coordinate with technical professionals and consultants to make informed commercial decisions regarding out-of-scope works.Conduct regular site visits to proactively and reactively address issues.Lead on the procurement and commercial evaluation of contracts.Review and update terms and conditions of leases and tenancy agreements to ensure uniformity in management repair liability and charging processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience ..... full job details .....
