Interim Head of Financial Planning

RM Recruit are working in partnership with a large education sector organisation to recruit an experienced and qualified finance professional for a senior leadership opportunity within their finance function.This is a key role responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and strategic financial analysis across the organisation. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, providing high-quality financial insight to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial sustainability.Main duties include:Leading the budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processesDelivering insightful management reporting and financial analysisSupporting strategic initiatives through financial modelling and business partneringManaging financial reporting timelines and ensuring reporting accuracyLeading and developing finance teams across reporting and business partnering functionsPresenting financial information to senior leadership and key committeesDriving continuous improvement across financial reporting processes and systemsThe successful candidate will:Be a fully qualified accountant (CIPFA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)Have substantial senior-level finance leadership experienceDemonstrate strong financial planning and analysis capabilityHave experience managing and developing teamsBe confident communicating complex financial information to non-finance stakeholdersIdeally have experience within the education, ..... full job details .....
