Interim Head of Finance

Robertson Bell are working with a large and complex organisation based in Bath, to recruit an experienced Head of Finance to provide leadership, stability and technical expertise during an important period of transition within the organisation.This is a highly visible role with responsibility for financial control, treasury, statutory reporting and the wider financial governance framework. The successful candidate will also provide leadership across a sizeable finance function, overseeing multiple teams and experienced managers whilst acting as a trusted deputy to the Finance Director.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the financial control environment, ensuring strong governance, compliance and internal controlsOversee a finance function of 20+ staff through several experienced managersTake ownership of cash flow forecasting, treasury management and banking relationshipsReview and challenge management accounts, reconciliations and financial reporting outputsOversee the statutory accounts preparation and year-end reportingProvide oversight of transactional finance operations, including payables, receivables and income functionsWork closely with FPandA leadership on budgeting, forecasting and financial performanceRepresent Finance at senior leadership meetings, committees and governance forumsPerson SpecificationQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Strong technical financial accounting and financial control experienceProven track record of leading finance teams in a ..... full job details .....
