6 Month Fixed-Term Contract Hybrid Working: 1 day a week in the office London Salary: c£70,000 An established and highly respected national charity is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join the organisation on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded qualified accountant to provide strategic financial leadership during a period of transition and development. Reporting to the Director of Finance, Governance and Technology, you will lead a capable finance team while ensuring the organisation continues to deliver high-quality financial reporting, controls, planning and business insight. Working closely with the Executive Team, Trustees and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in supporting decision-making, improving financial performance and ensuring resources are deployed effectively to maximise organisational impact. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the finance function, providing high-quality financial support to senior leadership and trustees. Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning processes. Ensure robust financial controls, processes and governance arrangements are in place and operating effectively. Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and manage the year-end audit process. Deliver insightful financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
