Interim Head of Communications

Location: Central London, hybrid (3 to 4 days per week on site) Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Contract: Temporary, 4 months Salary: £24.52 to £27.25 per hour (+ £2.96 to £3.29 holiday pay) (circa £45,000 to £50,000 salaried equivalent) Start Date: ASAP We are delighted to be supporting a leading human rights organisation in the search for an experienced Interim Head of Communications to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver communications activity for a highly respected organisation working at the intersection of human rights, social justice, research and advocacy. This role combines hands-on communications delivery with strategic leadership. The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day communications activity while providing expert advice on the future development of the communications function, helping shape the structure and priorities of a permanent team. Key Responsibilities: Lead the organisation''s communications function across digital channels, social media, website content and public engagement activity. Develop and deliver communications strategies to support major research projects, investigations, campaigns, films and other public-facing outputs. Build strong relationships with research and programme teams to identify and maximise communications opportunities.
