      <description>Location: Wirral | Salary: &amp;pound;400 - &amp;pound;600/day | Type: Permanent | Now Education are working in partnership with Wirral Met College who are seeking an experienced and dynamic  Interim Head of English &amp; Maths  to lead and drive rapid improvement across English and maths provision during a key period of the academic year.  This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced FE leader who can quickly establish credibility, lead at pace, and deliver measurable impact across GCSE and Functional Skills provision.   Key Responsibilities   Provide strategic and operational leadership for English and maths provision across the college.  Lead curriculum teams to improve student achievement, attendance, retention, and progress outcomes.  Drive rapid quality improvement initiatives within a short-term interim appointment.  Use performance data effectively to identify risks and implement targeted interventions.  Oversee curriculum planning, staffing, timetabling, and resource allocation.
