Hands on Head of Finance required to lead a Finance team in the delivery of timely and accurate Consolidated, Financial and Management reportingClient DetailsLeading, well established, Multi-site manufacturing business based in NE Derbyshire, DescriptionFinancial Reporting:Prepare and present accurate Consolidated, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.Analyse financial performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement in profitability and cost management.Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on financial performance and potential risks.Budgeting and Forecasting:Develop and manage the annual budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with the company''s strategic objectives.Monitor actual performance against the budget, providing regular updates and identifying any variances.Cost Accounting and Inventory Management:Oversee cost accounting functions, including the calculation of product costs, cost allocations, and margin analysis.Ensure proper inventory valuation, including the management of stock levels, raw materials, and work-in-progress inventory.Work closely with the production team to assess cost control measures and improve efficiency.Internal Controls and Compliance:Establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting and operational processes.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).Coordinate and ..... full job details .....
