Interim Group Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Group Financial Controller to join a growing, multi-site business and take ownership of the finance function during an important period of development. This is a hands-on and commercially focused role for an individual who can operate at both strategic and detailed levels. You will be responsible for strengthening financial control, improving management information and ensuring the business has accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting to support decision-making. The successful candidate will be comfortable rolling up their sleeves, improving existing processes and bringing greater structure, visibility and accountability to the finance function. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of the Group finance function and financial control environment. Lead the monthly management accounts and month-end close process. Produce accurate and insightful monthly MI and reporting for senior management. Analyse performance, margins, costs, profitability and working capital. Develop and improve budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reporting. Take ownership of cash management and working capital. Strengthen financial controls, processes and governance. Identify and implement improvements across finance systems and processes. Lead and develop the existing finance team.
