Interim Financial ControllerSheffield 3 Month Initial ContractWe are working with a well established PLC business based in Sheffield that is looking to appoint an experienced Interim Financial Controller on an initial 3 month contract, with the potential for the role to be extended or to become a permanent appointment.This is a hands on opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join the business at an important time and play a key role in ensuring robust financial control, reporting and governance across the organisation.The RoleReporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the day-to-day financial control environment and support the wider finance function across reporting, controls and month end activities.Key responsibilities will include: Leading and overseeing the month end close process Producing accurate and timely management and financial reporting Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring compliance with PLC requirements Supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and identifying areas requiring attention Managing and improving financial processes and controls Working closely with senior stakeholders across the wider business Supporting finance transformation and process improvement initiatives where required Providing hands-on support to the finance team during a period of change About YouWe are looking for a qualified or qualified by experience ..... full job details .....
