Interim Group Financial Accountant

The Group Financial Controller will lead the Group''s statutory consolidation and reporting processes. This is an initial 6 month contract to ensure accurate and IFRS compliant reporting. I am looking for a candidate with experience of leading the end-to-end consolidation process.Large Group based in Cambridgeshire. The role is hybrid and you will be required to be in the office at least 1 day a week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the end-to-end consolidation process for half-year and year-end Review and validate subsidiary submissions, ensuring completeness and accuracyPrepare and post consolidation journals, including intercompany eliminations and adjustmentsPerform detailed variance analysis on consolidated results and movementPrepare Group and UK statutory financial statementsEnsure full compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirementsAct as the primary contact for external auditors, managing audit deliverables and queriesEnsure strong internal controls over group reporting and consolidation adjustmentsDrive process improvements, standardisation, and automation across reporting cyclesKey Skills and ExperienceQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong experience in group consolidation and statutory reportingProven knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirementsExposure to complex group structuresCompetitor package on offerEA First Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency for this fixed term contract vacancy. ..... full job details .....
