OverviewJob Title: Interim Group Finance Manager. Hours of Work: 8.00am to 4.30pm, 5 days a week (37.5 hours). Reports to: Interim Finance Director. Contract: 6 months.
Principal RoleThe Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to join the Finance Department as Interim Group Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for many of the financial processes at both schools. The role reports to the Interim Finance Director on a day-to-day basis and ultimately to the Bursar of the Eltham College Family of Schools. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The main duties are for both Eltham College and Blackheath Prep and include, but are not limited to:
Preparation of monthly and termly management accounts within the required timeframe including the posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets, liaising with budget holders regarding spend
Assisting with the annual audit, preparing audit schedules as required
Monthly bank reconciliations
Termly tuition fee and remission billing
Preparing termly direct debit collection files
Posting monthly salary journals
Line management of staff
Undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be assigned by the Bursar or Interim Finance Director from time to time
