Interim Group Consolidation and Reporting Manager

This is a key role within the team taking responsibility for the collection, accuracy and integrity of the group''s monthly consolidations and reporting. This position will have significant exposure to senior stakeholders in the business.Client DetailsMy client are a major business in Cheltenham that operate on a global scale. They have an excellent reputation both locally and throughout the South West.DescriptionThe key responsibilities:Leading on the delivery the financial reporting submissions of all Group entities in order to identify and correct any errors or omissions in order to ensure the integrity and accuracy of Group Finance reporting.Deliver commentary, analysis and reporting of the group results (PandL, Balance sheet and Cashflow).Help drive an automation culture within the Group''s financial reporting via the delivery and implementation of reporting efficiencies, helping the group consolidation and reporting team use insight tools such as dashboarding and reporting customisation.Enhance and challenge the control environment in place, seeking to streamline and improve, whilst also managing the testing plans with Internal Controls.Support the team with more complex TM1 development to improve and modernise the System.Provide expertise and training to users to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the data gathering and reporting processes.Build strong relationships with the Group''s local finance teams in all the operating businesses, helping to ensure accuracy ..... full job details .....
