Interim Group Accountant 12-Month Contract (Potential to Extend) Home-Based with Travel to Europe We''re partnering with a PE-backed, growing SME software business to appoint an experienced Interim Group Accountant during an exciting period of transformation and growth. Following a series of acquisitions, the Group is establishing its UK parent company, preparing for its first UK statutory audit and implementing a new finance system. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who enjoys solving problems, strengthening processes and ensuring high-quality financial reporting in a fast-paced international environment. Working closely with the CFO and Group Financial Controller, you''ll play a key role across Group reporting, consolidation, audit readiness, systems implementation and acquisition integration. The Role Support the monthly Group close, including balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting. Prepare and support Group consolidations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Support the Sage Intacct implementation, including process development, data, reporting and transition activities. Support the financial integration of future acquisitions, working with regional and Group finance teams. Review and improve accounting processes, controls and revenue recognition across subsidiaries. Manage intercompany balances and resolve discrepancies across the Group. Work with external auditors and tax advisers, supporting the year-end audit and ..... full job details .....
