Interim Financial Controller / Group AccountantEast Midlands 6 Month Contract Growing SME GroupAre you a qualified accountant who enjoys getting under the skin of a business, improving reporting and bringing structure to a growing finance function?We are recruiting an Interim Financial Controller / Group Accountant for an ambitious, acquisitive SME group based between Nottingham, Leicester and Derby. Having expanded significantly over the last months, the business now needs an experienced finance professional to take ownership of group reporting and help strengthen its financial processes and controls.This is a genuinely hands-on role. You ll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, but you ll also be comfortable getting into the detail producing management accounts, consolidating multiple entities, improving processes and ensuring the numbers are accurate and delivered on time.Key responsibilities will include:Producing monthly management accounts and consolidated group reportingImproving reporting processes, controls and balance sheet integrityManaging budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and working capitalProviding clear financial analysis and commercial insight to senior managementStandardising reporting across multiple businessesSupporting future acquisitions, including due diligence and financial integrationIdentifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and financial informationHelping shape the future structure and capability of the finance ..... full job details .....
