Interim Financial Controller

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead the financial reporting and control function, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial information. The role will oversee a finance team responsible for monthly, annual, statutory, and regulatory reporting, while maintaining a strong control environment and supporting key business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the financial reporting and control team, ensuring the successful delivery of monthly, quarterly, annual, and statutory reporting within agreed deadlines. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP as applicable), regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Maintain and enhance the financial control framework, ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance processes are in place. Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, audit requirements, and direct and indirect tax filings. Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, regulators, and other internal and external stakeholders. Deliver accurate management information, including key performance indicators and financial analysis to support business decision-making. Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting, controls, systems, and processes. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and wider finance initiatives as required.
