Interim Financial ControllerUmberleigh, North DevonSalary: £50,000-£60,000Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join their successful and growing business on a full-time, interim basis.This is a pivotal role within the finance function, responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the accounts team while providing accurate financial insight to support key business decisions.As the Interim Financial Controller, you will take ownership of financial reporting, controls, compliance, and process improvements, while supporting the wider business in achieving its commercial objectives and continued growth.The responsibilities:Lead and support the finance team to ensure the efficient running of the accounts functionProduce timely management information and financial reporting for senior leadershipPrepare monthly management accounts and provide insight into business performanceOversee reconciliations, financial controls, and accuracy of accounting recordsMonitor cash flow and provide regular updates on financial positionManage audit processes and work closely with external advisorsEnsure payroll and statutory reporting requirements are completed accuratelyIdentify opportunities to improve finance processes and support business growthThe candidate:Experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial control and reportingQualified Accountant or qualified by experience (QBE)Commercially aware with the ability ..... full job details .....
