An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller on a long term contract. This is a key leadership role within the finance team, offering the chance to work closely with senior stakeholders and play a pivotal role in financial control, compliance, reporting, and operational improvement.The RoleReporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for:Supporting financial control, reporting, compliance, and cashiering functionsEnsuring compliance with HMRC requirements and Solicitors'' Accounts Rules (SAR)Managing and improving WIP, billing, and collections processesReviewing and approving office and client account paymentsSupporting year-end financial audits and SAR compliance auditsMaintaining robust financial controls and accounting recordsProducing management information and financial analysis to support decision-makingIdentifying financial risks and opportunitiesDeveloping relationships with partners and stakeholders across the businessDriving process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation initiativesLeading, mentoring, and supporting members of the finance teamAbout YouTo be considered, you will have:ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualificationMinimum 5 years'' post-qualified experience (PQE)At least 3 years'' experience as a Financial Controller within a law firmStrong knowledge of the Solicitors'' Accounts Rules (SAR)Sound ..... full job details .....
